Ordering Information & Estimation Form
How To Estimate Your Order
Amazon Forms will calculate your order from your floor plans. Mail, Fax
or Email them to us.
Also, you may do your own calculations. We have included an
excel worksheet to help with this job. Instructions are included in the
file on the first page.
Useful Facts
Here are some useful facts to help you estimate the amount of blocks
needed for your job:
- For Every 100 square feet of wall, the following is required:
- 18.76 Grid-Wall blocks @ 75 lbs. each or 1400 lbs.
- 1 cubic yard of concrete @ 3400 lbs.
- 150' of #4 rebar, at approximately 0.6 lbs. /linear foot, or 90
lbs.
The total weight, then, is 4,890 lbs. /100 square feet of wall or
approx. 50 lbs. per square foot of wall. Multiply your plate height by
50 lbs. for the load per linear foot on your foundation. Note: Final
lineal weight of the wall will vary with choice of wall coverings. Total
load must include roof systems and additional floors.
