Construction> A Tool, Equipment & Supply Checklist What Will I need?   The tool and equipment checklist for construction with Amazon Grid-WALL is minimal.  Take a look for yourself:   Tools In addition to normal carpentry and safety tools, there are some job site musts: Gloves, dust mask and safety glasses   48" Level   Electric Chainsaw or Reciprocating Saw --Do not use a gasoline powered saw as the filter will plug.  Also, DO NOT use bar oil.  It will clog up and burn, ruining your saw much sooner than normal.   Utility Saw, Hand Saw and/or Keyhole/Sheetrock Saw   Snap Line   Drill with Hole Cutting Bits   Homemade rasp (wire lath wrapped around a 2 x 4)   Blue Prints   Engineering Reports   Site plans   Floor plans:  Clearly marking placement of all conduit, electric, plumbing, data/cable, stereo/intercom, etc.   Supplies Glue & Glue Gun:  We suggest “Ener-Foam” Dry Wall Adhesive, manufactured by Abisko. It is available through us or other distributors.   Glue cleaner:  Figure about one can of cleaner for every four cans of glue.   Lumber and Plywood:  Used for bracing and reinforcement of critical areas during pour.   Wood shims:  You may need a few to help level and plumb.   Rebar ‘Chairs':  Improvise with leftover materials from your jobsite such as rebar scraps.  Large nails (#40 p) work nicely for this purpose, too. Equipment Forklift to unload the delivery truck. It is the responsibility of the buyer to unload the delivery truck. We do not provide offloading. The contractor or buyer is responsible for getting the pallets off the delivery truck. BE SURE TO GET THE RIGHT KIND OF FORKLIFT ! We recommend that you use a "rough terrain" type forklift rated at a minimum of 3,000 lbs rather than a normal warehouse type.  The pallets weigh approximately 1,800 lbs. each.  DO NOT UNLOAD DELIVERY TRUCK WITH A BOBCAT  or anything not designed to handle 1800 lb pallets. The 'warehouse' type wheels on many forklifts, which are small and designed for use on smooth, concrete floors can't handle these heavy loads on rough, construction sites. Pallet Jack:  Very helpful, but not essential.   Rebar bender / cutter.
